Tuesday, October 11, 2011. And we are back! I kind of abandoned this blog when we put Short Stuff into the state deaf school here. But now that we are into the 2011-2012 school year we are back into homeschooling and I felt a renewed desire to work on this blog again. So for starters I would like to fill in where we left off. But doing that, I have discovered how poorly I sign after two years of not much practice. And I have discovered how little she really understands. She is a great actor! Ok, moving o.

Thursday, July 1, 2010. I am sharing our tentative school calendar for 2010-2011. My goal is to be done by June 6th having logged our 180 days by using 170 days for schoolwork and 10 days for field trips. Our field trips will be done during vacation or breaks. Week 1 - August 2 - 6. Week 2 - August 9 - 13. Week 3 - August 16 - 20. Week 4 - August 23 - 27. September 1 - September 14.

We are a military family, homeschooling wherever the Army takes us. We are currently in Alaska, but will be moving to Georgia in the spring. She loves dancing, doing art projects, traveling, and of course reading. Make your own badge here.
